Our second cabin, The Hide, is equally as magical and enchanting as The Lodge. Hidden away at the other end of the 9 acre estate and accessed via its own set of wrought iron gates, you will find The Hide in all its charmingly rustic glory. The perfect place for a cosy and restorative couples escape or to share with your nearest and dearest friends or family. 

Set across two storeys, overlooking the trees and valley of the winter creek, the cosy timber cottage has a touch of fairytale whimsy about it. Gothic inspired architecture with arched windows, vaulted cathedral ceilings and oversized ornate chandeliers set the scene for your next getaway.  

Stepping inside, a 6 metre wall of glass dominates the central living and open plan bedroom zones, through which the beauty of the surrounding trees is magnified. From the elevated deck sink into our newly installed two person outdoor stone bath - with a view of the tree canopy, stars and moon, it is a must experience.  

Relax with a coffee or wine and spot the local wildlife through the windows whilst hidden in your very own secret bush hideaway.

Please note, The Hide is completely open plan, with living, kitchen and dining downstairs and a galleried bedroom and bathroom space upstairs overlooking the living room below. (There is an enclosed powder room downstairs). The Hide is principally suited to couples; however, up to 3 to 4 adult guests, who are happy to share the open plan spaces, can be accommodated in one king bed and two single beds.

The house is fitted out with all the creature comforts you will need for a comfortable and relaxing stay, including outdoor bath, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, dishwasher, BBQ, fireplace, bathrobes, slippers and a full kitchen. The Hide has no television. 

Guests of The Hide can take a stroll along our river path which take you to our riverside gardens (approximately 400m). Guests are welcome to enjoy a drink in the gardens which have a grassed area, fountains and table and chairs set on the banks of The Margaret River. (Please note the river is not fenced. The river flows rapidly from May to December each year. It is a dry river bed from January to April.)

The Lodge and The Hide are connected by a 100m walking trail through the bush (only accessible if your group books both houses). 

No low slung cars please - the driveway into The Hide is unpaved and sloped and uneven in places and therefore unsuitable for sports cars. "Normal" 2 wheel drive cars are fine.
