La Forêt offers you the freedom to tailor-make and personalise your wedding - our riverside gardens can be your blank canvas. We accommodate a small number of events per year, all on an exclusive use basis. La Forêt's elegant and unique European inspired gardens are the perfect destination for your Margaret River intimate special event. Elopements and micro weddings (up to 40 people) are welcomed.

La Forêt is a beautiful and unique venue with old-world, European charm. Stage your ceremony amongst nature in the enchanting River Garden with a choice of ceremony locations, followed by a long table dinner in a marquee or under the stars. The River Garden is idyllic, located at the bottom of a sweeping stone staircase, shady and cool beneath tall trees. With fountains and its position alongside the Margaret River, the gentle sound of water will serenade you and your special guests. (Note the river ceases to flow between January and May each year).

In addition to our River Garden, we are busy preparing an additional ceremony space which will be ready in late 2026.  

Get ready surrounded by your closest friends and family in our two luxury cabins. Across the two houses, we can sleep 4 to 6 people onsite so your wedding day preparations are catered for too. With an abundance of space for your bridal party wedding day preparations, you’ll share laughter and excitement as you prepare for the day ahead. Characterful and spacious, The Lodge and The Hide are located a short stroll from the gardens, making an easy transition to your chosen ceremony location. 

Both of our houses are the perfect setting for a romantic mini-honeymoon after the Big Day has ended. Each house is uniquely styled and privately set surrounded by nature, offering a relaxing santuary after the festivities have ended. We can arrange dinner and breakfast hampers, in-cabin massages or private dining experiences so you won't have to leave the comfort of the cabin! 

​If you have already booked your wedding ceremony and reception elsewhere, you can still incorporate an element of La Forêt into your day. "First Looks" and wedding photography within our beautiful grounds are available to resident guests**. The private estate features established gardens, stone elements, European influenced statuary and a purpose-built "Arc D'Triomphe' all carefully maintained to reflect the natural beauty of the setting.

** To ensure the gardens and surrounds are consistently presented at their best, use of the gardens, stone steps and arch for photography is available as an additional service. A photography access fee applies. This fee reflects the preparation and care required to present the grounds to a high standard, as well as coordinating access across the property for additional guests and vendors. This ensures the spaces are beautifully prepared for your images while preserving the integrity of the estate.
